Maya Mohan – Education
With over 40 years of teaching experience and having served as Principal for about 23 years at the prestigious CHINMAYA VIDYALAYA, Cochin, Ms. Maya Mohan, has been the proud recipient of the National Award for Best Teacher in 2005 and the Best Principal Award at the 7th National Science Olympiad.
A series of achievements that further adorn her existence are the positions of a consultant editor at Orient Black Swan English text books and her being a member of the Andhra Pradesh Government Education Review Committee, which has now been named, ‘Maya Mohan Committee’.
She is also the F OUNDER & DIRECTOR of TATTWA which is a unique open learning education centre
Dr.Ranjini Krishnswamy – Education
She is a recipient of the NATIONAL AWARD for Teachers/Principals from the Government of India and has won several other awards too. She has been in the academic arena for over 40 years of which 25 years has been as Principal.
She has also been a Teacher trainer at the E.C.C.Ed and B.Ed levels. Her core competency is Curriculum Construction and Development, School Administration and the teaching of English Language.
She was also the Western Region Coordinator for PEAS (Program for Environmental Awareness in Schools) a National, non-government body for promoting Environmental Education among children; and has authored books on Environmental Education. She is closely associated with Global Cities Inc. a project of the Bloomberg Philanthropies, New York and has participated in International Symposiums organized by them.
Her expert views and opinions are regularly solicited by leading media on matters of educational interest including tackling exam stress.
Currently, she is the Director-Education for the prestigious Dosti Group Foundation and is mentoring their Educational projects in order to change the face of education in Mumbra in Maharashtra.
Dr. Madhura Phadke – Education
With over three decades of academic & research experience, including 16 successful years as the Founder Principal of three schools and two Jr. colleges, Dr. Phadke's dedication to research & education is widely recognized through numerous renowned national & international awards. Some of her accomplishments are as follows-
She is a recipient of the NATIONAL AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION by the Indian Economic Development and Research Association, the BHARAT SHIKSHA RATAN AWARD by the Global Society for Health and Educational Growth, and the RAJIV GANDHI SHIROMANI AWARD by the Citizens Integration Peace Society. She also received the EMINENT EDUCATIONIST AWARD by the National and International Compendium in New Delhi, and the 'THINKING AHEAD OF TIME' AWARD at the XSEED School Leader's Conference in Singapore.
Under her astute leadership, she ensured that the Pawar Public School system was consistently recognized amongst the top 50 schools in Mumbai for five consecutive years. Additionally, the ICSE Schools she led received the prestigious ‘International School Award’ from the British Council. She also served as the Convener for ICSE Examinations for schools affiliated with the CISCE and is the Secretary of the Managing Committee of EUMIND-India, an internationally recognized educational exchange program.
Dr. Phadke is an avid scientific researcher and her accomplishments have garnered several accolades & opportunities. She holds a Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from Mumbai University, specializing in anti-arthritis and anti-jaundice herbal medicines. Her work has made significant contributions to the field, as proven by the numerous papers she published on superconductivity and herbal medicines in national and international journals.
Her efforts were recognized through both the CITATION AWARD BY INDIAN DRUGS, and the YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD at the 14th conference of the Indian Council of Chemists.
She is also a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR New Delhi and presented a research paper on Pharmacokinetic markers at the International Conference on Toxicology in Paris, which was widely acclaimed by her peers.
By integrating her passions for education, research, and teaching, she has gained extensive experience in both the Indian and international education systems and has conducted numerous seminars on the elements and implementation of the NEP (National Education Policy)-2020.
She currently serves as the Honorory Director of ARDENT EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY & Founder Principal and Secretary of the Managing Committee of A. M. NAIK SCHOOL, Powai.
Brigadier P.K. Muralidharan Raja, SM, VSM (Retd) - Indian Armed Forces
Brigadier Raja’s multiple list of exemplary achievements bear testimony to his justified stature as a role model and icon amongst the entire cross section of India.
An Alumnus of the prestigious NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY in 1972, he retired from the Indian Army in 2013. During his sterling career with the Indian Armed Forces, Brigadier Raja has been the proud recipient of the VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL (VSM) which is awarded to recognize "distinguished service of a high order” as well as the SENA MEDAL (SM) which is awarded "for such individual acts of exceptional devotion to duty or courage as have special significance for the Army."
He was also the COMMANDANT at the Army Institute of Physical Training and the CHAIRMAN of the Army Sports Control Board.
Not one to rest on his laurels post his army retirement, Brigadier Raja, in his capacity as the first IBC President conceptualised and set up the entire framework for a successful Professional Boxing Commission headquartered in India in 2015. The Indian Boxing Council (IBC), today, is affiliated to all the major global sanctioning bodies i.e. (World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO).
As a Technical official himself, Brigadier Raja has officiated at the Olympics, multiple Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
In his last assignment as the Chef De Mission to the Indian Contingent at the London Olympics 2012 he was instrumental in leading and managing India’s largest and most successful ever contingent at an Olympics.
Brigadier Raja, is also the Founder and Chairman of the niche Sports Science and Sports Medicine institute Krumur Clinic in Pune, Maharashtra which was established in 2013 and instrumental in successfully developing a scientifically designed physical education curriculum based on age related growth and motor development plans.
Dr.N.K.Amin, Superintendent of Police, IPS (Retd) - Law & Order, Cybercrime.
After serving the INDIAN POLICE FORCE and nation in various capacities, for over 20 years with exemplary distinction, Dr. N.K. Amin falls under the rare breed of individuals who constantly endeavours to re-invent themselves and continue to remain an inspiration for generations to come.
To begin with, apart from retiring from service as a HIGH RANKING POLICE OFFICER, he is also a qualified surgeon, forensics authority, CYBER CRIME SPECIALIST and a practising CRIMINAL LAWYER in the high court.
Dr. N.K. Amin currently in his capacity of an ADVOCATE also runs a highly successful legal firm, N.K. AMIN LAW ASSOCIATES in Gujarat, Ahmedabad.
He is also a life member in various prestigious medical associations and social clubs that provide selfless social service at multiple levels to children and adults alike.
During his distinguished career as a dynamic IPS OFFICER, Dr. N.K. Amin has conducted various crucial investigations and operations in the larger interest of the nation which has been duly acknowledged, recognised and appreciated by the HONOURABLE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA.
Fakeherunnisa T.P - Juvenile Justice & Protection
Fakherunnisa T.P. has been an amazing advocate of promoting children welfare during her long and exemplary association with the State Government of Kerala in various prestigious positions over the years.
An M.A. in Sociology and a B.Ed in SPECIAL EDUCATION, she has over 40 years of child development experience with a successful track record that includes being a Headmistress for over 10 years as well as being an INTEGRATED CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES (ICDS) Supervisor for over 18 years with the Government of Kerala.
She has also been a highly successful District Coordinator for projects associated with the KERALA GOVERNMENT and WORLD BANK.
In 2007, she was the proud recipient of the prestigious BEST ICDS SUPERVISOR STATE AWARD from the Government and has also been a prominent BOARD MEMBER of the JUVENILE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
