Maya Mohan – Education
Maya Mohan is widely regarded as a legend in the Indian Education Industry.
With over 40 years of teaching experience and having served as Principal for about 23 years at the prestigious CHINMAYA VIDYALAYA, Cochin, Ms. Maya Mohan, has been the proud recipient of the National Award for Best Teacher in 2005 and the Best Principal Award at the 7th National Science Olympiad.
A series of achievements that further adorn her existence are the positions of a consultant editor at Orient Black Swan English text books and her being a member of the Andhra Pradesh Government Education Review Committee, which has now been named, ‘Maya Mohan Committee’.
She is also the F OUNDER & DIRECTOR of TATTWA which is a unique open learning education centre
Brigadier P.K. Muralidharan Raja, SM, VSM (Retd) - Indian Armed Forces
Brigadier Raja’s multiple list of exemplary achievements bear testimony to his justified stature as a role model and icon amongst the entire cross section of India.
An Alumnus of the prestigious NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY in 1972, he retired from the Indian Army in 2013. During his sterling career with the Indian Armed Forces, Brigadier Raja has been the proud recipient of the VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL (VSM) which is awarded to recognize "distinguished service of a high order” as well as the SENA MEDAL (SM) which is awarded "for such individual acts of exceptional devotion to duty or courage as have special significance for the Army."
He was also the COMMANDANT at the Army Institute of Physical Training and the CHAIRMAN of the Army Sports Control Board.
Not one to rest on his laurels post his army retirement, Brigadier Raja, in his capacity as the first IBC President conceptualised and set up the entire framework for a successful Professional Boxing Commission headquartered in India in 2015. The Indian Boxing Council (IBC), today, is affiliated to all the major global sanctioning bodies i.e. (World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO).
As a Technical official himself, Brigadier Raja has officiated at the Olympics, multiple Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
In his last assignment as the Chef De Mission to the Indian Contingent at the London Olympics 2012 he was instrumental in leading and managing India’s largest and most successful ever contingent at an Olympics.
Brigadier Raja, is also the Founder and Chairman of the niche Sports Science and Sports Medicine institute Krumur Clinic in Pune, Maharashtra which was established in 2013 and instrumental in successfully developing a scientifically designed physical education curriculum based on age related growth and motor development plans.
Dr.N.K.Amin, Superintendent of Police, IPS (Retd) - Law & Order, Cybercrime.
After serving the INDIAN POLICE FORCE and nation in various capacities, for over 20 years with exemplary distinction, Dr. N.K. Amin falls under the rare breed of individuals who constantly endeavours to re-invent themselves and continue to remain an inspiration for generations to come.
To begin with, apart from retiring from service as a HIGH RANKING POLICE OFFICER, he is also a qualified surgeon, forensics authority, CYBER CRIME SPECIALIST and a practising CRIMINAL LAWYER in the high court.
Dr. N.K. Amin currently in his capacity of an ADVOCATE also runs a highly successful legal firm, N.K. AMIN LAW ASSOCIATES in Gujarat, Ahmedabad.
He is also a life member in various prestigious medical associations and social clubs that provide selfless social service at multiple levels to children and adults alike.
During his distinguished career as a dynamic IPS OFFICER, Dr. N.K. Amin has conducted various crucial investigations and operations in the larger interest of the nation which has been duly acknowledged, recognised and appreciated by the HONOURABLE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA.
Nikhila Dhadiwal Kothari – Psychologist
Nikhila Dhadiwal Kothari comes with a wealth of experience in children’s socio emotional and behavioural issues and is a passionate mental health practitioner.
Through her untiring initiatives she has been associated with thousands of teachers, parents, children and young adults and has vast experience in addressing issues such as substance abuse, bullying, anger management, depressions, LGBTQ issues, self-image issues, stress, suicidal thoughts, etc.
She is a child and adolescent psychologist with over 14 years experience locally and internationally and has a Masters in Child Development as well as a PG Diploma in child adolescent mental health, UK.
She has also completed successful courses associated with psychosocial work with adolescents and youth from the prestigious TATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES.
Nikhila has been closely associated as a psychologist with Mpower Mental Helpline which is a progressive initiative by the ADITYA BIRLA GROUP and GOVT. OF MAHARASHTRA, as well as with different schools in the region.
Nikhila is also the Founder and Director of CURIOUS MINDS, which is a Mental Health Clinic based in Nasik, Maharashtra. The Clinic caters to different age-groups and socio-economic backgrounds for different issues related to their mental well-being which includes personal counselling as well as therapy.
Fakeherunnisa T.P - Juvenile Justice & Protection
Fakherunnisa T.P. has been an amazing advocate of promoting children welfare during her long and exemplary association with the State Government of Kerala in various prestigious positions over the years.
An M.A. in Sociology and a B.Ed in SPECIAL EDUCATION, she has over 40 years of child development experience with a successful track record that includes being a Headmistress for over 10 years as well as being an INTEGRATED CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES (ICDS) Supervisor for over 18 years with the Government of Kerala.
She has also been a highly successful District Coordinator for projects associated with the KERALA GOVERNMENT and WORLD BANK.
In 2007, she was the proud recipient of the prestigious BEST ICDS SUPERVISOR STATE AWARD from the Government and has also been a prominent BOARD MEMBER of the JUVENILE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
